Andy Burnham is already frightening the top income earners

The right-wing press is starting early with the Labour leader hopeful Andy Burnham horror stories.

In this weekend's The Times, The Thunderer's journalists warmed up its readers with the news that Andy would "radically alter Britain's tax system."

Once hooked, its readers were then fed the revelation that he would introduce a ten per cent “starting rate” for the great unwashed, whereas the kicker in the proverbial cricket box was that the high fliers would suffer a top rate of income tax of 50 per cent.

Get used to it Andy, there's more on the way.
